First drop of the season! Headed out about lunchtime in the direction of Brighton Marina and once past Roedean school took the Greenways road inland towards St. Wulfran's Church in Ovingdean. Just before the Church I climbed the hill and after a few slightly confused minutes (despite the decent clue) had located this cache and dropped a copy of "Boraces" in, removing a golfball to make room. A pretty tight fit, the cache was somewhat similar in size to the one at the Long Man I wrote about last year.
Had thoughts about walking on to Saltdean Lido to deposit another in a cache out there but the day was getting on and both I and my walking partner were getting peckish so will try next week if the mood takes me. I only have a few copies of each cdr left to drop before I can start distributing the new one and I've been told the artwork will be finished in 2 weeks or so.
In other news, got new headphones today (Sennheiser HD-201s) which are a bit truer sounding so that will be a boon for mastering the new release. The old ones made everything sound so full and amazing and I think I was kind of kidding myself for a long time about what things actually sounded like although I'm not incredibly worried about things like that normally. These new ones are a hell of a lot more comfortable at least. And were free, which is always cool. :)
