So as an expansion of this project I've decided to make the first three albums available via Bandcamp - you can visit my page and download them for free here. A complete u-turn I know as I was so desperate to get away from releasing any more music online but its been over a year now and I've had time to let the idea stew a little. I still subscribe to the fact that the internet is overloaded with content and that things get lost and so on but hey: theres more chance of some people hearing it this way than putting it in a box in the forest. Although I will continue to do that on occasion. :)
As regards the 4th album "The Forever War" I'm going to keep that seperate for the time being, I think the first 3 work well together and they were all made in our first house in Elm Grove in Brighton, the fourth was a mixture of the two and sonically I'm not 100% sure about it. I've done a lot of recording since I moved to Hove and there are a lot of tracks completed which I think I'll turn into a short album or at least a good strong ep. However its the pure improv stuff I've been doing with k (no o) thats really got me excited again, more on that soon. I also recorded an album of solo improv stuff in his place some weeks ago which I may upload here soon as well - in mono, straight to cassette tape, nice and grungy. Theres also been a lot of recording going on up ngrrrr's place - the photo taken by VORRS above is from a session k(no o), terminus mons, VORRS and I did. The next session featured Nolan Dialta, Vorrs, k(no o), me (although I came in quite late and didn't do much recording), Terminus Mons, Paul Baconhead, Brunstein & Microbes - an excerpt from it can be heard here:
